Jasia is a founding member and current Board member of the Central Rivers Farmshed, a community group which promotes local food and supports local farmers. She is also a food and nutrition professor at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the School of Health Promotion & Human Development, as well as a Registered Dietitian whose teaching career focuses on health promotion and sustainable, local food systems.
